Hi everyone, its that time of year again. And as we start off the new 2011-2012 season, we are in need of some volunteers to help out with a clean up day and activities we have just around the corner.
We have a clean up date scheduled for Aug 13 2011 at 8 am. We will be cleaning up the concession stands and getting things ready for upcoming games and activities.
We have been asked to open the concession stand for a 5 k fundraiser5 the athletic boosters are sponsoring.It is really a great offer from them as they could have done something themselves but asked us to take charge of it at no % to them. HOWEVER it is August 20 starting at 5:30 pm. Volunteers need to be there by 5pm to start set up and cooking. Athletics have no real idea of what to expect. Most likely this will be over by 9 pm. They have about 30 – 40 school and other groups running booths and about 100 runners lined up. It is a fundraiser for the athletics but like I said they are giving us this opportunity to make some money from the concession stand.
So as we get ready to hit the ground running for this new year, we are in need of volunteers for the clean up day, the concession stand for the 5k run, And of course our games are starting on Aug.26 with our first home game being on Sept. 2.

8/26 White Co. – away game
9/2 Oconee Co. – Home game
9/9 Banks Co. – Home game
9/16 Jackson Co. – away game
9/23 Ogelthorpe Co. – home game (Homecoming)
9/30 Hart Co. – away game
10/7 OFF WEEK
10/14 N. Oconee – away game
10/21 Elbert Co. – home game
10/28 Jefferson – home game

Sept 17 Art in the park we may need people to run the booth. We will need a driver for equipment.
For each Home game we will need 3 equipment people, 15 Home concession people, four chaperones.
For each away game we need three equipment people including One driver. Six chaperones.
Parades we need 2 equipment people including one driver four to six chaperons and two people to carry the banner.
