Aaron Garland is currently the band director at Kings Bridge Middle School and assists the East Jackson High School
Marching Band. Mr. Garland is a native of Ellijay, Georgia and a graduate of Gilmer High School , where Steve Calhoun and Joe Pflueger were his band directors. Mr. Garland is a graduate of Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama. While a student at Jacksonville State, Mr. Garland was a member of the amazing “Marching Southerners”, the JSU Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Brass Choir, and Opera Theatre. Mr. Garland is a founding brother of the JSU Mu Iota Chapter of the Kappa Kappa Psi National Honorary
Band Fraternity. Mr. Garland has worked extensively with several award-winning middle school and high school bands in Catoosa, Chattooga, and Gilmer Counties.
Mr. Garland is a member of the Georgia Music Educators Association, JSU Alumni
Association, International Trombone Association, and Kappa Kappa Psi Honorary
Band Fraternity. Mr. Garland is honored to be a part of the East Jackson Band
family.
